What are the best seats for Cirque du Soleil at The Met?
For a close view of the performers and stage details, look for centered seats on the floor, when the event's seating layout includes reserved floor seating. Seating configurations vary, so review the map for your selected date before buying.
Are there seats to avoid at The Met?
Far-side balcony seats may have angled or partially limited views depending on the stage setup. If unobstructed sightlines are important, consider a centered floor or mezzanine location and check the event-specific seating map. Cirque Du Soleil - Twas The Night Before Philadelphia Theatre reviews
Great time for all ages...
The concert at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Cirque Du Soleil - Twas The Night Before, was an enjoyable and polished presentation. The music, which is so familiar, was fun to hear being played by a full symphony orchestra. The HD clips from the movies were amazing, with completely clear picture clarity. I'm eagerly awaiting the release of the Star Wars films on Blu-Ray now.
Anthony Daniels did a great job with the storytelling, although I wish he wasn't so scripted. If you are a Star Wars fan, you will experience Star Wars in a new way, while those unfamiliar with the saga will be guided through the various story threads of the Star Wars universe.
Various movie props, costumes, and Star Wars characters were on display outside the concert hall. I regret not bringing a camera, as there were many picture opportunities with Stormtroopers, Boba Fett, R2D2, and other costumed characters. Seeing the kids running around in awe brought back memories of my own childhood, particularly when I had my picture taken with Darth Vader in 1978 at a local car dealership. Nowadays, kids have the chance to take photos with almost every Star Wars character they admire.
